Another exciting week! No rest days this week, five double-days, two outdoor bike rides adding a lot more cycling mileage and lots of work perfecting the front crawl stroke at swim practice! Also, no naps for me this week because Emery blessed me with a whole week of decent sleeping and earlier bedtimes, so then I could go for walks or pull her behind the bike while she was napping. Praise the Lord! Good sleep and lots of eating makes all the difference, no?! I hope it keeps up deep into Spring and Summer as I want to work towards 2 workouts every single day.
Monday
- 50 min spin
- 67 min run hill circuits. Total distance: 11.6km
Tuesday
- 60 min swim practice
- 20 min strength at home
Wednesday
- 60 min spin steady
Thursday
- 60 min swim practice
- 30 min tempo run
Friday
- 50 min swim 4x 300's and a bunch of flutter kick, totaling 2000 meters
- 110 min bike outside, hauling the Emery in the chariot for her naptime. And my friend never let me stand up climbing big hills! That's a good training buddy, and a good quad burn.
Saturday
- 40 min fun and muddy trail run with my hubby! it was his first run back from an ankle (actually, both ankles) injury
Sunday
- 50 min bike ride outside
- 50 min swim time trial 2100m- 40:30, 20 seconds faster than seven weeks ago! total swim distance: 2500m
