Here we are leaving the house to meet up with family to go trick or treating in true toddler style, which basically just means the most ridiculous way possible haha. It's an adventure every time we head down the front steps ;) How far can she lean out on one step? How many jumps can she take on the way down? And now that it's snowed since Halloween the question is how much snow can she sneak off the pumpkins and into her mouth on the walk down before mom notices?
We obviously went as Little Red Riding Hood and the wolf for Halloween this year. Emery adores this wolf costume that we bought online for her to wear to my cross country running races (our team is the wolves, and she makes a mighty adorable mascot). I pray she'll let me join in her themed costumes fun the next 16 years too! ;)
^^ this was the trick or treating crew this year! A bunch of cousins, Uncles and Aunties and a couple of friends. My favourite costume was our friend's Justin Trudeau costume! And I love how the camera really focused on his face making it look photoshopped, ha! ^^
Trick or Treat!
Emery seems to have forgotten about the candy part of the evening, bless the two year old age! So my husband and I have been thoroughly enjoying it ourselves every evening. Even when I ask her what she did for Halloween she remembers trick or treating at Auntie's house, but when I ask her what she got she answers "bags!" (she collected her candy in grocery bags). So funny!
xo.
