The local Christian radio station hosted a family ski night at the hill last weekend. It was a warmish night and much slower than a normal weekend night, especially on the non-green runs. My parents joined us and we rotated through watching Emery in the chalet. If she was fussy or hungry or just needed a change of arms she'd be held up in the chalet window to be spotted by those of us skiing. It worked perfectly! There are so many activities that babies can be incorporated into, but skiing is a trickier one. I loved getting to see her periodically throughout the night because I tend to miss her on 'nights out' and I LOVED getting to do an activity that I enjoy and sorely miss.
Warming up between runs with hot chocolate AND baby snuggles can't be beat. The event was sponsored by Cute as a Bugs Ear (a baby store) and since we were the only family with a munchkin in the chalet the radio DJ spotted us and gave us a gift card to the store!
xo.
